Low (cover by PIU gamers)

Alright first let me show you how this worked (at least for us lol). Since this Pump It Up machine (Korean dance pad -- here's a sample of me playing; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=33Db4B9oV88&feature=plcp) came to Elizabeth Mall, we used to hang out and make music videos starring ourselves. This particular video I have below was taken 4 years ago.

Also, if you know the song I have the lyrics jotted down. Have fun!

Lyrics:
Shawty had them Apple Bottom jeans, jeansBoots with the fur, with the furThe whole club was lookin’ at herShe hit the flo’, she hit the flo’Next thing you knowShawty got low low low low, low low low low

Them baggy sweat pantsAnd the Reeboks with the straps, with the strapsShe turned around and gave that big booty a smack, ayy!She hit the flo’, she hit the flo’Next thing you knowShawty got low low low low, low low low low

I ain't never seen nuthin' that'll make me goThis crazy all night spendin’ my doughHad a million dollar vibe and a bottle to goDem birthday cakes, they stole the show

Them baggy sweat pantsAnd the Reeboks with the straps, with the strapsShe turned around and gave that big booty a smack, ayy!She hit the flo’, she hit the flo’Next thing you knowShawty got low low low low, low low low low

That's what I told her, her legs on my shoulderI knew it was over, that Henny and ColaGot me like a SoldierShe ready for Rover, I couldn't control herSo lucky on me, I was just like a clover

Dye!

When I was young my hair was brown and it remained so until I learned the beauty of adding colors to it. I've rounded up all the best tips and hair color ideas that suits me. I guess I've tried almost everything!

The past week I visited the salon to change my hair color from blonde to black and leave a small portion of gold at the tips (if I don't want it I can easily cut it off, right?). However.. He said dark colors make me look old, so he added a lil' twist with my golden hair. Dark brown & purplish red highlights so you get the idea, when it's not tied the color changes. And I'm planning to repeat this session by December so it would become lovelier.

Now I'm fairly certain this is the best look for me, Strawberry Blonde.

My Biggest Decision

These shots were from JD's P.E Festival at school. I kept wondering why I haven't blogged about this event but kept on staring at the pictures blankly. Until.. I got the idea one day! The simplest yet the biggest decision I am about to make.

Can I trust my instincts?

I've got my 2 boys here and stuck trying to make a big decision in my life. I now know that what's "right" often boils down to what's right for you. Or did I really mean, for the kids. Everybody wants my children to be happy & I want them to feel loved more than anything else. I am starting to open up to the idea, the further I look down the road, the more I can see the value in having a complete family (literally). But until now, I am unsure and I am finding the decision hard to make, especially because typically my husband is the hard-headed one and I am the one who makes sacrifices and compromises. Well I guess that's what moms do.

Yours, Mine & Ours.

I couldn't believe that there really was a real Beardsley family with 18 children (or perhaps 20, according to the books and columns I've read).

What's the story?
In Yours, Mine & Ours, Coast Guard Admiral Frank Beardsley (Dennis Quaid) re-meets his beautiful high school sweetheart, Helen North (Rene Russo). Both have lost their spouses and have large numbers of kids (he has eight, she has ten, six of whom are adopted). They marry without telling their kids of ahead of time. Of course, the kids are unhappy with their abruptly changed living conditions. Helen's children are artistically inclined and free-spirited (the conduct family discussions using a "talking stick"); Frank's are regimented, used to following orders and running a "tight ship." (His kids come with a nanny, played by the wonderful Linda Hunt, here reduced to inglorious reaction shots.) Frictions between the kids first cause arguments (including competition between the two teen girls over a cute boy at school). Eventually, the children decide to break up their parents' marriage. They stage events --including two boys dressing up as girls and a discussion of two girls kissing -- that will cause arguments over parenting choices. The real "Yours, Mine and Ours" family

Well, if you haven't heard or even seen the movie yet, better check it out. It's all about family, and I love every single detail in it. Especially when the family was trying to get their names onto the answering machine message before it times out & the Beautiful Lighthouse Keeper's story.

The cast of the 2005 movie Yours, Mine & Ours.

I chose the new version (2005) because it deviates in many ways from the original. Not too much chaos in the whole movie. I can actually talk about "Yours, Mine & Ours" with my family over and over again since it's close to reality.

My Average Week

As I prepare my healthy diet plan, I'm thinking about what to blog next. I spend more time browsing our photos (printed or not) and by the time I sit down to the computer, everything seems to disappear. In fact I'm not really in the mood for saying stuffs today.

Since I've spoken a few things about me and everything I know, I can perhaps share this week's occurrences.

One of the very first things was the Tanduay Rhum Rockfest. Nope, I wasn't able to attend. But guess what, I did attend a far more interesting event that night. There was this fellowship held somewhere near Cebu Doctor's Hospital that made my night open to possibilities (Though I was receiving so many invites & I've had so many places to go, I chose to stay and make friends with them). We had great conversations and.. I learned a few things too.

Brought my kids to see their pediatrician because cough and colds are trending.

The next day, found myself texting many people without knowing what to do or where to go. (So I guess I'm a little weird, huh?) But actually I did go somewhere with my husband's side of the family.

Also, JD's 2nd Periodical Exam is fast approaching. So I'm loaded with school stuff for the next week. And did I mention I got myself enrolled in a school too? Okay, I'm busy with self-studying & this time, I have got to focus so that I can get the diploma I've been yearning for over a year.

Lastly, a fitness program. For sure this is the best thing I can do for myself! I mean, yes shopping, hanging out with friends, and eating delicious (not to mention, unhealthy) food sure can minimize the stress but I know this can improve my lifestyle. And there's more good news.. I now enjoy isolating myself from the world! Ha ha ha!

Not A Mother's Day

I'm still far away from Mother's Day (barely 7 more months to go) but I am feeling a lil weird blogging about Mom today. I mean, if I'm supposed to share anything I want, I absolutely can! You see, I kind of intentionally did not mention how much I wanna tell everybody about her. And don't assume it would never come to that. He he he.

First of all, you never know how good a mother really is until you become one of them, or at least having a small fight with them. (But really I'm going to say missing them) And even if she's so great now, there's always a guarantee that she will stay that way towards her babies. I am her baby by the way! The very spoiled little baby.

Over the years, I have been giving her reasons to be upset but she has never left my side. Yes she tells me she's mad at me.. About the things around me.. But she never ever tried to give up on me. You know, drama! (Oh wait is this what they call True Love?) Trololol.

It's not a Mother's Day alright but I could not have asked for a more thoughtful and loving mother as her. I don't want to get emotional here but what I'm saying is true. I can't believe it myself! Ha ha ha!

Landmarks

There was this one night before every member of the family headed to their separate hometowns where I never wanted to walk away from them. It's not all about personal taste, so it wasn't that hard for me to make a specific decision. Think about it, everyone has their own family now. Okay you got me, I never wished for that night to end.

Great places to take visiting friends and family to can be found in the City of Cebu! There's loads to see and do.. I remember when I was a kid, I promised to myself that I would never forget places I want to go to. And I'm pretty sure the places we went that night would never be forgotten.

North Pole

Picture taken -- October 1st @ a Birthday party, last day in the North Pole (I would say).

I spent the last days of September with my extended family at the Northern area of Cebu City. It was so much fun and exhausting. Think about the hours of travel from our recent residence! All I ever needed was the happiness of my two boys.
